Your Kitchen Remodeling Timeline: From Consultation to Finished Kitchen

Most kitchen remodels don’t go wrong because of bad craftsmanship. They go wrong because of bad coordination. Contractors who rely on outside subcontractors can’t commit to a real schedule because they don’t control it.

We do. Here’s what your kitchen remodeling project looks like from first conversation to finished kitchen:

1. Free design consultation (~1 hour) — You meet with our design team. For the design process, we look at your kitchen together, talk about what isn’t working and what could be better, and develop a design direction. Most homeowners leave this meeting with ideas they hadn’t considered.

2. 3D design & selections — Before a single cabinet is ordered, you see your kitchen in a photo-realistic rendering. Layout, cabinets, countertops, finishes, you approve everything first.

3. Line-item proposal — Every cost accounted for, clearly written out. We don’t start until you’ve approved the full scope.

4. Installation — Our own crew executes the full scope. A dedicated project manager coordinates every trade on site. You’ll know who’s on site and what they’re doing every day.

5. Final walkthrough — We walk the kitchen with you before we call it done. Everything has to be right.

From installation start to final walkthrough: 4–6 weeks. You’ll have a confirmed schedule from day one.

Our installers are our own employees, a lead trim carpenter and his dedicated crew, and they work exclusively on our projects. That’s how we can commit to a real schedule before we start and actually keep it.

All-Wood Cabinets, Not Particleboard, At Competitive Pricing

Every cabinet we install is built from real wood, not the particleboard you’ll find at most stores at a similar price point. That’s the difference between a kitchen that still looks and functions perfectly in 20 years and one that swells, sags, or falls apart the first time there’s a leak. We also give you line-item pricing up front. The number we quote is the number, no surprises mid-project.

Cabinet Installation – Every cabinet is installed by our own in-house crew, not subcontractors. We handle the measurements, the fitting, and the finish work ourselves, which means one point of accountability from the first cabinet to the last door.

Soffit / Bulkhead Removal – Those bulkheads above your upper cabinets are one of the fastest ways to make a kitchen feel dated and small. We remove them cleanly and open up the space. It’s one of the most common changes our designers recommend, and homeowners are usually surprised how much bigger the room feels.

Open Concept / Structural Changes – Opening up a kitchen often means removing non-load-bearing walls to create a more open, connected layout. We assess the space, handle the demo, and get you the open floor plan you’re after.

Drywall Repair – Cabinet and soffit work always involves the walls. We patch and finish the drywall ourselves so you’re not left coordinating a separate contractor to close up what we opened.

Backsplash – Tile or quartz, traditional or modern, we install the backsplash as part of the project so the finish work is coordinated and consistent. No hunting for a separate tile contractor.

Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC – When a remodel requires electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work, we coordinate licensed professionals and manage that work as part of the project. You’re not making separate calls or managing separate schedules. It all flows through us.

Lighting – Good kitchen lighting isn’t an afterthought. It changes how the whole room works. Under-cabinet task lighting, pendants over the island, recessed cans in the right places. We plan the lighting as part of the design so it’s integrated, not tacked on.
