This customer wanted an updated kitchen better suited to entertaining. The issue was an outdated layout with a small kitchen passing through to a small, closed-off dining area. Our customers love to entertain, but often felt separated from the event while preparing food for various stages of events. The small kitchen also made entertaining challenging. They did not have enough storage or counterspace to accommodate all the appliances and dishes she needed. Working with our team, we proposed a solution to meet all the clients’ needs:

1. Removing the dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room
2. Adding a peninsula to create more counterspace and serving area
3. Relocating appliances for better workflow
4. Creating a panty in the previous kitchen entry
5. Adding open shelves to showcase collectibles
6. Creating a modern lighting plan

Once the wall was removed, areas of the space needed additional work including drywall, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. After this was complete and building inspections were complete, our team installed the cabinetry, accessories, hardware, and shelving. Once the flooring was installed, we returned to complete the installation with toe kick and shoe molding. Maintenance-free quartz countertops were then installed, completing the project.

The customers love their new, functional kitchen designed for entertainment. It allows them to cook more and entertain without missing out on any of the fun. The customer was thrilled with the project concept, execution, and result.
